Supported Living This is a service offered to men and women suffering from mental illness, drug addiction or who have learning difficulties and therefore need help to cope with the problems of daily life. Irrtu(r)m - Newspaper project People having experienced psychiatric treatment publish a yearbook. To write articles, poems and stories enalbes the authors to articulate the experiences, the wishes and desires they have. F.O.K.U.S. is the department for projects, training and education of the "Initiative zur sozialen Rehabilitation e.V."F.O.K.U.S. reverts to 25 years of pratical experiences with community based mental health care and users involvement.
In the centre of the offers for qualification, further training, education and consulting are:
- Support of services and processes which avoid or shorten in-patient treatment and care
- Involvement of users/experienced people
- Community-orientation and networking
F.O.K.U.S. qualifies and trains mental health professionals.
F.O.K.U.S. has since many years experiences with participation in and the coordination of various EU-projects in the field of community mental health.
